It’s either I have been watching too many movies, or my own imagination; I have my own “SCARY MOVIE” last night, a combination of few movies in my dream.

It starts with some chaos, where a friend of mine in my college comes and tell me, we were been arrange on a flight to escape from a tsunami. Without hesitancy, I packed up with some clothes, my camera, laptop and left the hostel.

Once reaching the airport, I saw a plane, Boeing Model 307 Stratoliner, a 40s Boeing carrier, some fighting carrier which is used during World War 2 by US army to drop the two nuclear bomb on Japan.

Story continues,

We were going to be sent to a secret base where there is another carrier for us. At that moment, I started worrying of my family back in my hometown. I try to call back, even though news was telling the tsunami had flooded over the north part of peninsular Malaysia, which might have destroyed the telecommunication system.

Vincent was so worried, afraid that the tsunami has destroyed his hometown. There are so many things which I wish to tell my family. At least a sentence of “I love you” before the end of the world.

Fortunately, the call can be getting through, and mum picks up the phone. I was told that, they were on the highest building in Miri. The tsunami has flooded over the fifth floor and water level is still inclining.

What mum and dad tell me is be a good doctor and save more life. And we hang up

The flight landed and in front of us is a big huge ship, THE TITANIC. We are escaping on a titanic.

The first wave comes and hit us. The scene is like those we saw in the movie “2012”. We can see the tsunami destroyed lots of houses and buildings. And, …. Mummy calls back and tell me the water level is going to reach their floor.

And, mum advice me must take care, with love.

During our schooling time, we are infused with something call Vision 2020, a vision by our beloved 4th prime minister. Since there, we all got our subsidization, in almost everything important things appear in Malaysian daily life.

We are been subsidized in salt, sugar . So, in the end, Malaysian is in high risk of hypertension and diabetes melitus. now, government cut down salt and sugar subsidize.

Malaysia is an Islamic country. I am very agreeing with this statement. Cause we are like other Islamic country. We export petroleum, and we are been subsidized in petroleum. So, due to the cheap petroleum, we could used more and drive fast on the road. The best petroleum user team we have in Malaysia, the Mat Rempit. Even Valentino Rossi is telling," ii.. saw manny drivor drive fast on the road!" We are too fast until V. Rossi asked us to drive slow, cause he is afraid that one day, a Malaysian will come out and take over his champion in Motorbike Grand pix.

We are been subsidized in education and health. So, we produce many scholars and sent them to Singapore as gift to strengthen the diplomatic relationship between the two country. When this Malaysia born Singaporean fall sick, all of them come back Malaysia to seek for treatment, cause the treatment fee is only 1 Ringgit. Very cheap, know.

We like the number one. We have all things start with one. One Malaysia, One Malaysia Clinics, One Malaysia mutual fund, and even One Utama. We really Utamakan(stress on) ONE.

So, now the government is facing a problem. High budget and debt which leads to bankruptcy. Recent statement from the Prime Minister Office, if Malaysia is continuing having debt, by the time in year 2019, the debt will rise by 900% and the government will face bankruptcy.

What??!! gonna bankrupt in year 2019 when we are a develop country in 2020? cool....

What i think is, our current government is thinking too much and too far. They are so confident that they will still rule the country until year 2019, which no one can predict. Unless they have the skill to make sure that they are always the ruling government. I am very happy if they mind to tell the public how they do it.

Now, they try to cut down the subsidize. Reason? to save the national savings. (or theirs?)

Government," i wish to actually, we are very considering of our own people.

Not only the tax, the toll fee, the car tax etc.

does the statement sounds a bit hopeless to all the Malaysian? Life is gotta getting worse and worse. A lot of people is saying Malaysian government is going to be like Iceland or Greece if we do not manage ourselves properly.

where are all the money? if compare to the products built in the nation, it doesn't match compare to the amount the nation earned and the money spent according to the plan.

no one is against the termination or reduction of the subsidize, but can i ask you back, our government,

what can you do, in rebate for us? are you sure you can do better with this?

one of my friend used to give a very nice comment, re-election will be continued until particular party win in an election.

by chance, there is a re-election in Sibu, Sarawak, which is known as a warming up activity before the state election which is coming soon. as usual, competition between the blue and the red.

so, here's come my story.
the blue came out with a statement which is written in the newspaper this morning, that the red representative always want to be famous in their own party. And, the blue will only always work for the public. They never think of getting famous. What is the point given by the blue to support his statement?
the red actually have few candidates for the coming election. But, in the end, still the eldest striker step up for the try. Blue later asking, why the red never give chance to the younger striker? Still want to "act" strong to show that they can, so that they can be famous people in his team?

by here, i would like to throw back the same statement to the blue.
who is the president of your team now? how many years he or she has been sitting at this position? does he give chance to the youth?
the situation seems to be like Manchester united and the Glazier Family.

whoever who is going to win in the coming election, the one who get benefit is the boss, the public. but for long term, i still cant imagine what will happen if the blue win, or i still cant see how can the red bring changes to the people.

me, neither supporting any party. but same advice, think for your future.
never wait for the road to be repaired during the few weeks before election.
empty cheque is always easy to be made.
look around you, how many things has been done after the last few election?

once in a blue moon, i have a month time at home. this time, i have another two guest from west malaysia doing our attachment in Miri General Hospital.

we call it attachment but its actually our self-declared holidays. Mun Yew keep on saying i am so stupid to be so hardworking doing the attachment, as we are suppose to use the time traveling.

i went to johor bahru two weeks ago, when my parents were coming over to attend my cousin's wedding.
cousin.. hmmm... in my memeory, i only remember how my aunt looks like. so, when i step in the house, my feeling was weird! how come all seems so strange to me. lol.. meantime, i'm feeling glad to meet up my cousins who i think i met up once ages ago.

The last day of my 3 days Temasik trip, we were a bit lazy after the long walk on Sentosa Island.

After packing, we were wondering where we should go before we drag ourselves back to JB. So, here comes our plan, first Explanade, then Orchard Road, do some shopping, that’s it! Lol

Explanade, what is it famous of? Answer is The Merlion.

In hong kong, the landmark is the Vitoria Port. For Malaysia, we have twin tower. In china, we must go great wall. In Singapore, this is the creature you must visit before you leave this country.

Merlion, it is situated at Explanade, the commercial centre of Singapore. Merlion is surrounded by tall buildings and throughout the whole year, looking at the Singapore Flyer in front, with a durian building accompany her, Singapore Opera Theater, on her left side.

there was some event at Esplanade during the Christmas Eve. there were lots of wishing ball from the people hoping their wish will come true in the new year. these ball were lighted during the night, but i did not have chance to come here at night during the trip.

Next station, Orchard Road.

Once I stepped on Orchard, the big big Channel advertisement really takes my mood away. In my mind, I was thinking, now I have limited cash with me, I have nothing to buy. And, why am I here? I thought there is something interesting along the street. What my eyes can tell me is, it is just two long streets with lots of branded stuff which I am not interested at the moment. I don’t even bother to take out my camera for any scenery capturing!

Keston told me, if you didn’t go Orchard Road, it means you’re never been to Singapore. So, let me feel the air of Orchard, I headed into a mall! Ya, I admit, if I am rich with sufficient cash, this is a perfect place for me to camp! I saw the entire legend brand here, and they even have one whole building for Rolex!

I don’t know what other people did here. I spent only 30 minutes. Within the 30 minutes, I kept on telling myself, one day, I shall come back, and it won’t be a problem for me to purchase things here. A good motivation from Orchard! Be a good doctor, earn sufficiently to travel!

Keston can look through my lonely heart on Orchard! He later suggested going other place. I grab the chance to go back Harbor Front, for………… DOUlOS!

I have missed this ship for several times! And finally, I am walking on her deck before she stops sailing. Perhaps, this is the last year for her to sail across any ocean. And Singapore is one of her last few stop before she turns into legend.

It was free entrance; I was greeted by the volunteers from different nation. Inside the ship, the volunteers were happily explaining their experience to the people, and also introduce things they used during sailing. Some of the volunteers also introduce their own culture to the people through some art work. There is a bookshop at the topmost deck. I bought a biography of Doulos and a postcard.

Second day in Singapore, we went to Sentosa island.

How I wish I can own this island, with the amount of people heading to this island, I will become a billionaire counting my money… if, I own the island.

We went to underwater world, Siloso fort, and also watch the show “song of sea”

on our way visiting the only fort i know i Singapore, Siloso fort, water suddenly poured down from the sky, as if someone made a hole on the sky... at the moment, three of us were praying so that the rain will stop soon, and we are able to watch the show.

at last, god listen to us.... " song of sea" is a great show. it was actually a sketch by a group of teenage. the unique thing of the show is laser effect on the "water wall'! this is very cool.. it did open up my eyes.

I always heard from people that, Singapore is a very nice place. The name Singapore always appear in newspaper, being honored the best city to stay in Asia, the best city in this and that! In the legend, I also got to know that, orchard road in Singapore is happening with it Christmas celebration.

And, finally! I got my chance to visit to Singapore, on Christmas day, with Keston and Torng Lei.

If you ask me, what is my opinion after the trip. I can only give you a wow!

Before this, I always think that Malaysia is able to compete with Singapore one day. But now, I can only say,” Malaysia, you don’t have anything to compare with your neighbour! I’m sorry! Not even a single piece of shit!”

No wonder, whoever has the opportunities will fight for their chance to work there. What I see with my eyes, Singapore has higher standard of living, clean and tidy.

Along the railway from keranchi to tiong bahru(the place where I camp), the city and neighborhood is very well organized, with nice and comfortable landscape. One thing which I found very funny is, the buildings looks like the Lego toys from the monorail.

My first day in Singapore was spent in Clarke Quay. We have our Christmas dinner at Hooters.

Ahem! Hooters! Nice food with nice waiters! Lol… I spent 45 Singapore dollars that night…

We spent the whole night there, having few photo sessions. I thought there will be some celebration when the clock hits 12, but in the end…. It just a peaceful Christmas eve…

During the last weekend, few of my friends came over to visit Malacca.

Like usual, I brought them around those famous places here. And, I’m also taking the chance to do my photography around the heritage city.

really have lots and lots of things to learn.. as my friend told me, keep practicing and practicing.

my life in OnG posting

i'm currently in Obstetrical and Gynecology(OnG) posting, a posting which i always interested since my fifth semester in Manipal.
i still remember the first time i watch a labor, once the fetus head is out, my tears dropped, and i called my mother the next morning, urging to hear her voice. It is such a painful sequence, an event which i think a mother won't forget throughout her life.

"sister! sister! i think i can't make it!!" by a mother who is having labor two days ago. she is trying to give up initially though we had seen the head. Maybe she thinks it is too suffering, or she thinks she can't bare with the pain anymore, or other few causes! But the nurses on shift never give up. They scolded the mother (like usual government nurses!). By pushing breathing and pushing, head is out, follow by neck, then shoulders of both side, then in less than 2 seconds, the whole body is out. This is like American Football, running40 yards, 20 yards, 10 yards! i can see a relived on the mother's face together with an expression as if they have just came out from the hell!

When the nurses show the baby to the mother. everything is over. a sweet sweet smile by the mother, and the first breast feeding. Such a harmony moment.

But, not every mother can be that lucky!

"doctor! doctor! breech! breech!" shouted by nurses when we were having class with Dr. Rahim.
A Malay mother with 30 weeks of period of gestation, having breech presentation who is having preterm labor. All the staffs in the wards were panic-ing , this is because non of them ever seen any breech delivery. Dr.Rahim, the Hod of OnG department, came out slowly from the classroom, and ordering the staff while trying to comfort the mother who is screaming of pain.

while observing the whole event, i was inspired by Dr. Rahim. i really admire of his calmness. while everyone is panic and running around, he went to talk to the mother,
" don't worry, we are here. i am Dr Rahim, i am here to help you. don't panic!"

once in labor room. i was shocked! half of the lower pole of body is outside the vulva. but, Dr. Rahim still in a steady mood, conducting the delivery. At that moment, i started feeling that be an obstetrician is really great. Dr. Rahim really inspired me a lot that day, and i am telling myself, very sure that, i am going to take up obstetrics and gynac as my specialist in the future. By bringing so many new lives to the world, isn't it a great job?

i was thinking, it is really a miracle and no one can imagine how wonderful a delivery till he or she has seen it.

"10cm journey through vagina is the most critical journey in a person's life."
this is very true. this is because a small mistake will put both the baby and mother in risk.
Be an obstetrician isn't easy, still i am going for it.

spent my friday night with Bing Chi at McDonald, Malacca Mall, doing our revision there. Bing chi was dragged by me to accompany me studying there cause there was powercut in my hostel.
like usual, we start our revision with shopping in Malacca mall. it is sorted of like prophylatic therapy to keep ourselves awake to stay and studying in McD.
meanwhile, i also grapped the chance to take some candid shot on Bing Chi while she was looking around in Parkson.

the electrician went to check the main fuse this morning, and found spilled coffee spot on the floor, which initially was misunderstood as vomitus by us. we all were making fun of it, blaming who is the stupid fellow who vomited at the fuse room, putting us in trouble. but still, we are asking around who spilled the coffee in there. anyhow, police report was made... guess this issue will be carried to our next assembly!

i start photography since the age of 18.
first photo was taken by using canon compact camera (filem type).
scenery is the sunset in miri.
name of the photo is the eye.
too bad, that photo is not with me now. and i dun have the negative for that photo which is an even more sad case. but i promise those who see it will give a "wow!" . not because i have a great skill. the scenery during that moment really great. a great chance for me to start my photography as a hobby.

like others photographer, i start with compact camera. years by years, i had used different brand of camera. and, i can proudly comment what is the advantage and disadvantage of different compact cameras.

for me, i am 85% nikon supporter. my first compact camera is nikon coolpix. and now my second camera,

proudly i introduce my new DSLR - nikon D90.
my dream since it was launched one year ago. and, finally i got permission from my parents, though they are still not happy with it, afraid photography will affect my studies.

few months back, a fren of mine introduce a book to me, written by Gray John, Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus. but due to my studies, i didn't really have an urge to read this book. and, when i grab this book to read yesterday, i realize i am so a typical Mars that most of the Venusian will not like.

i recall my friend told Vincent is a very self centered man. what ever things he told, all the people must follow. maybe i was brought out in this kind of family. most of my relatives were behaving in this way.

sometimes, i don't really realize my bad habit, and even think that i am the kind of guy who is very caring and respect to a girl.

i admit, i do love a girl in the last few months. and, was trying to change myself when i know my bad habit. but, i didn't put my effort in. i should read that book before i really put my responsible in that relationship, to impress her. but, it is too late... she has now walking far from me, and i also had actually push her away from me.

from the boo, it mentioned that, women are group of people who requires care and communication. this is very true. i realise when i put myself accompany a girl to talk,this will make her more comfortable, impress her more. when she wants to have peace, she will feel more comfortable when i just sit beside her and accompany her going through all her problems.

martian like me, is a very rushing person. i like to see my result. that is why every time, when i work out something, immediately i will ask around to see how they evaluate me. when i suddenly feel that, "eh! something is wrong!" i will try to fix it immediately. but when things go really wrong, there goes vincent... the more i manage it, the more miserable is the problem.. and towards the end, i lost everything.

martians like to solve problem by themselves. and this is actually very true. for me, i seldom seek for advice, and things really get worse when i try to handle by myself. really sad with my own attitude.

in year 2009, vincent is deeply in love with a venusian. and i do love and learn from her a lot. after all, it is my first time after my last one 6 years ago. i do enjoy this one, it makes feel been in the wonderland. though i have lost her heart, i still occupied by her.. and this time i am totally lost her, completely.

for guys and girls out there, faster grab this book nourish and motivated yourself. dun let things change before it is too late. relationship is a precious thing, a good partner isn't easy to be found.
and never force a girl to do things she doesn't like. the more you force, the further they will walk from you.

after 6 years, again i visited to kuching. This time i went with purposes. One of it is to relax myself after being tiring chasing my studies for the past 6 months. In order to get a better accommodation, i pull my mum to come along with me, and my plan really works! She really got me a very comfortable hotel, River Side Majestic which is a five star hotel according to the locals.

being away from my blog for ages! has been lazy to update my current news. maybe there is nothing interesting to be updated in here.
currently in medicine posting which is quite inspiring till now, though it is very difficult. i called it a mysterious posting. we are like a medical detectives, ask for proof, examine for findings to get any diagnosis. with one symptoms, we have numbers of diagnosis (differential diagnosis ) and later need to exclude one by one to get a final answer. sometimes, some patient will find us troublesome to ask so many question from them. what to do? this is my job!
as a medical students, we still can simply make any diagnosis and learn from any mistake. if it happens that i make a mistake when i am a doctor, guess i will become a good friend of a lawyer, who always talk to me in court.

just hope that, i can see and learn as many things as possible in this posting! becoming a good medical detectives!

i start playing basketball at the age of 13. i start watching NBA at the age of 16. i have two favorite players in my favorite team when i just started watching NBA. Kobe Bryant and Shaq O'neal, in L.A Lakers, the best double team that i ever known. Though now Shaq has left Lakers, Lakers during 2000 - 2003 is always the best team for me.. haha...

Recently, NBA tv is a very nice video on this pair. i find the video very unique and creatively produced. thumbs up to the producer who had produced this short video...

May 8, 2009 — Drinking up to half a glass of wine daily may increase longevity by 5 years in men, but more studies are needed, according to the results of a study reported online first in the April 30 issue of the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health.

"Light to moderate alcohol intake lowers the risk of cardiovascular mortality, but whether this protective effect can be attributed to a specific type of beverage remains unclear," write M.T. Streppel, from the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment, Bilthoven, the Netherlands, and colleagues. "Moreover, little is known about the effects of long-term alcohol intake on life expectancy."

The goal of this analysis was to determine the effect of long-term alcohol intake and types of alcoholic beverages consumed on cardiovascular mortality and life expectancy at age 50 years. The study cohort consisted of 1373 men enrolled in the Zutphen Study who were born between 1900 and 1920 and evaluated repeatedly between 1960 and 2000.

Time-dependent Cox regression models were used to calculate hazard ratios (HRs) for total alcohol intake and for intake of alcohol from wine, beer, and spirits. Areas under survival curves were used to assess life expectancy at age 50 years. Light alcohol intake was defined as consumption of not more than 20 g/day.

Compared with no alcohol consumption, long-term light alcohol intake was strongly and inversely associated with risks for cerebrovascular mortality (HR, 0.43; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.26 – 0.70), total cardiovascular mortality (HR, 0.70; 95% CI, 0.55 – 0.89), and all-cause mortality (HR, 0.75; 95% CI, 0.63 – 0.91).

Long-term wine consumption averaging less than half a glass per day was strongly and inversely associated with coronary heart disease (HR, 0.61; 95% CI, 0.41 – 0.89), total cardiovascular mortality (HR, 0.68; 95% CI, 0.53 – 0.86), and all-cause mortality (HR, 0.73; 95% CI, 0.62 – 0.87), independent of total alcohol intake. Differences in socioeconomic status did not explain these results. Compared with men who did not consume alcohol, men who drank, on average, less than half a glass of wine per day had a life expectancy about 5 years longer.

"Long-term light alcohol intake lowered cardiovascular and all-cause mortality risk and increased life expectancy," the study authors write. "Light wine consumption was associated with 5 years longer life expectancy; however, more studies are needed to verify this result."

Limitations of this study include lack of data on drinking frequency, average long-term alcohol intake was relatively low, most participants used more than 1 type of alcoholic beverage in their usual diet, and for those men who were newly included in the study in 1985, information on alcohol intake was missing for the period 1960 to 1970.

"The inverse associations between wine consumption and mortality remained after adjustment for total alcohol intake," the study authors conclude. "Wine consumers had a 5 years longer life expectancy compared with no alcohol consumers; however, more studies are needed to draw conclusions on the strength of the association between wine consumption and mortality."

The former Inspectorate for Health Protection and Veterinary Public Health, at present integrated in the Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority, the Netherlands, supported this study. The authors have disclosed no relevant financial relationships.

Everything is because of LAN.

First of all, I admit that I’m the kind of guy who cares family very much. I might sounds very disobedience in family, but I always love my parents and my siblings.

Story starts like this, during the LAN class in the morning, there was a statement in history that Portuguese had taken Melaka for 130 years, which is around 2 generation. (A generation is 75 years).

So, I started to have something in my mind. I’m already 25 this year; I still left 50 years on earth. Then, I start realizing that not everyone will accompany me for the next 50 years, especially my beloved parents.(studies shows that average of human life is around 72 years.)

Both of them are around 55 this year. Theoretically they have another 25 to 30 years time with me on earth. I can’t imagine what I will feel at that moment when they leave me. 30 years sound long but it actually runs very fast.

During the class, I start calculating, if I manage to complete my study in 2 year, I have to work for government for another 5 years, and then prepare to have my own family. At least 15 years of time I need to prepare myself for the next phase of my life. How much time I left for my mum and my dad? If accidentally they suffer from amnesia, how much more happy moment can we recollect?

I start to leave my family since 2005 for my studies. I have not stay in my home for more than 2 months for the past 4 years. This year even less...

When I was young, I always wished to go out from home, staying alone outside. I still remember the night before I left my home, my mum come to my bedside and talked to me in a very soft voice, “What u wish all the while has came true, right? Remember, when you start leaving home, this house will only become a hotel for you. You might not have chance to stay longer here.”

Mother F***er, I almost cried out during that time but I hold… I want to say,” At this moment, I wish to stay here,i don't want to go anywhere.”

After five years, how I wish I could go back home spending time with my family. When I see my friends going back home every weekend, how I wish I could do the same thing. It is not fun to stay away from family.

When I have time for my family, they might don’t have it for me.

Every time when I look at my mum, the wrinkles become more and deeper. Especially in the past 5 years.

I always pray so that God always protect my parents, provide them healthy life, so that we can spend more time together.

Just want to conclude here by telling that,” mum, dad! I love you! I will study hard and never let you down.”

It has been ages since the last time I update my blog. Few reasons

1. I don’t have camera with me over here in Malacca. Not even a compact camera.

2.I don’t have my own transport to go around Malacca.

3.Most important reason is, I don’t have the feel, the mood, and the urge.

I always have a lot of ideas to shoot the scene around Malacca whenever I went around the historical city. Only ideas, no action. At the same time, I am also looking forward to own myself a Nikon D90 or future Nikon DSLR. Too bad, I still don’t have any savings in bank.

Luckily, the urge and interest in photography does not disappear with times.

Two weeks ago, I went back to Miri for a short break. Every time, when i come back, i will go to Luak Bay at least once, because there is a beach here called Expalande and also along the road, there are a lot of big houses.

even though these photos doesn't look that great as compare to the professional photographer, i'm still very satisfied with my product. Addition, i found that the photos look nicer when u tilt a bit. it looks more attractive, not so boring.

i went to the beach around two in the afternoon. that is the reason why the beach looks so empty. normally it is packed during the weekend with people walking along the beach, fly a kite, etc.

Sunset at Esplanade also make this beach a perfect place to date during the evening. long beach with wide angle of view. Miri is one of the few places in Malaysia where u can find the sun really sink through the horizon.

As a Mirian, i am proud with the beaches here. Too bad, after Miri has turned into a city in year 2005, the development in Miri seems to be in a pause condition. When i was in miri during my holiday, i found that Miri is again turnning into a village gradually, with a messy and untidy landscape along the road.
i'm wondering how Miri can continue to be known as a Tourism City if they still continue with the current condition.

i'm now in the third week of community medicine posting, which i can say is the most relaxing posting among the six posting of my fifth semester. so, on the labour day, which is also called May Day in india, i invited some of my friends together with an intern who i just knew, to st. mary's island. it was around 6 kilometers away from udupi, and it is outside malpe beach. malpe beach, is the nearest beach to manipal, where most of the student will usually come during weekend whenever
they are free. it is the first beach i stepped on in india. malpe beach is facing Arabian sea, and is always crowded with the locals during the weekend, which gives me a different feeling whenever i came here. all blacks instead of whites or yellow skin! ok, back to st. mary's island. she was

discovered by Vasco de Gama. he was said to have landed here in 1498. her original name was El Padron de Santa Maria by Vasco de Gama.

i have always planned to go this place since i started my fifth semester. on may day, without much preparation, we left manipal to udupi in a bus, the transit to malpe in an auto. i had been putting a very high hope on this place since everyone was telling it has a good landscape for photo shooting. again, bargaining become one of the schedule for this trip. luckily i brought 2 friends with at least diploma in bargaining. we finally got rs 1000 for 7 people (and trust me, if you come here by chance, fight with them till you get lower price, as lower as you can). with my mild motion sickness, i forced myself into a small speed boat, and guess what! we are welcomed by a "slight strong" waves which "washed up" the two fellow who took the front seat.
i can tell you, the 20 minutes boat ride almost help me to empty up my stomach! and finally, we are here! ST. MARY'S!

what the island has impressed me is the beach which is covered by sea shells instead of sand,the sea shells which cover the beach,

and also the rocky side at the beach which has unique position and shape. because of st.mary's location, which is away from the main land, the water is escaped from pollution, maybe there are urine in it from the locals who are having fun here!

without wasting time, i start my work here! although is a small island, i did not manage to complete the whole land. i was doing my photo shooting with nikon d80, which i borrowed from a junior of mine, and i can tell that i really enjoy each shooting moment here, learning to use the dslr, and also, trying lots of way in landscape shooting. while shooting, though i did not really take lots of good photos here. but still, i keep on giving grace to lord for his creation.
i had been actually trying to ignore the time limit that the boat man has gave us, as we were to be given 1 hour on the islands.
as we all know, happy moment always short. without notice, one hour has gone and we could only manage to discovered 1/4th of the island. the frustrated boat man shout us from far.even though i was not satisfied with the service, still the emotion of the boat man had entertained me!
again on the very uncomfortable boat ride, we are back to malpe beach. though it only took 20 minutes, it was like a never reach ride for me.
after all, still i enjoy the trip. and if, i have chance i might step on the island again to complete the whole land.

let see, why yew kong suddenly become so shy in front of Dr. Ginsy? romance always part of the beach activities.

07th of April 2008, Malaysia's election has been done for almost one month. and, i think most of the Malaysian around the world knew the shocking result. the opposition win 5 states in peninsular Malaysia. which means, Barisan National, the main and always dominant politics party does not win 2/3 of the seats in this election (which they always aim for since independent).
the story now is after they lost in the last election, they seems like not happy with the result (of course not happy). they keep on blaming the leader of Barisan National, Abdullah Badawai, also the prime minister of Malaysia. in addition, the leaders of Barisan National keep on telling or giving the reason why they lost in the election. furthermore, this group of "childish" adults, who i really don't understand, keep on finding the mistake which is done by the opposition.
it has been one month after the election, what are thy still competing of? when Manchester united lost in the champions league, the only spent one day or one week to share their mistake to their public. they might try to point out some mistakes made by the referee and the enemy. after that, they stop talking, but group up all the players, finding their own mistake, try new style of attacking and put more effort in their practice.
look back to our government. when the opposition did something which they don't satisfied, they will call up the reporters and point up the mistake to the public. if people still remember whatever mistakes made by the Barisan National's leaders, the government didn't make any explanation until the public starts showing their dissatisfaction. can't them just be quiet, and sit in their office, discuss what is their own mistake? thinking how they have ruled the country in the past few years, and how they had distribute the properties to the public. Malaysia is a multi racial country, which is very very unique among the world. i can say we are lucky that our country can still survive so well throughout the years as they are no fighting among all the races in Malaysia. all the people respect each other.
but, they are certain group of people, did not consider of everyone in the country. they just think of themselves, giving their best to their people first, leaving the remain useless benefit to others. when they found out public starts to be angry, they quickly do some work or give temporary benefit to the people to cover the public's mouth. the funniest thing is when they first find out this method is useful, they continue using it for 10 years, 20 years. they thought other races are stupid like shit. so, finally, these group of "stupid" public choose the opposition to rule their place.
in 2008 Malaysia's election, surprisingly opposition won so many seats in both parlimen and states. when the opposition is enjoying their victory, the ruling party keep on finding small mistake of the the opposition. as if they are jealous of the opposition's victory, they are showing as if only Barisan National can do things for the nation, the opposition is useless. they act as if there are no chances that opposition can rule the country better. they keep on " finding the bones in the egg". (a famous Chinese idioms).
opposition, after fighting for the rights for so many years, you taste the victory at last. don't be proud of this temporary happiness, but learn and be stronger in the future, fight of the rights of everyone. don't let the public down, repay those who had supported you. don't only think of self benefit.
help the people and help the country. National Front, learn from mistake and be more responsible. for both parties, remember Malaysia is a multi racial country.

today is 31st of march, 2008. my fist posting will be start on 1st of april. the only i want to share here is my feeling of posting.
my fist posting will be to karkala, i can't imagine what is the funny thing i will do on the patient. my mind is empty now, sort of unconscious, like an empty tin. i am actually excited now, because i'm gonna expose to patient in the ward.

today is 30th march 2008. i have been in manipal for 1 week after my north trip in my last vacation.

north trip of India, a trip which we have planned for at least four months before we start, a trip which involve 11 strangers initially, but becoming brother sister after the trip. a trip which i would never forget and i would share with everyone proudly. a trip which might prepare me for any bag pack activity to other country in the future.

situated at the north west part of india. we went 3 places in rajasthan - udaiphur, jodphur and jaiselmer. rajasthan is a state rich with interesting history and unique culture. each places has it's own history and culture. these 3 places are famous with fort and palaces.

we also have chance to visit chittograh, where there are a fort belongs to maharana udai singh, the ruler of udaiphur. maharana shift to udaiphur after chittograh fort defeat to mughals. now it left only ruins and jain temples.

famous with Meherangarh, another famous fort, which i like the most. the fort looks very strong and great strength. beside that, jodphur also famous with Jaswant Thada, a marble memorial.

a giant sandcastle, situated in the desert of rajasthan. here, we went to jaiselmer fort. the interesting i did here is camel safari! finally, i have a chance to step in desert. even though the desert is not fully covered by sand, i still have a very good memory in the desert with the desert people.jaiselmer fort

next station is amritsa, a city in punjab. we visit golden temple, the singh's temple, and also waghal border. i have fever in amritsa. so, i din really enjoy my one day stay here. amritsa is a city which is mainly stayed by the singh. so, the culture here is very much different compare to other part of india. people here are more friendly, and there are less beggar, because the golden temple provide free food for those we come here.

the thing which i found interesting in Amritsar is waghal border, the gate which separate india with pakistan. in history, Pakistan and India is considered as one family. they got separated because of some factor which I'm not really sure. what i know is Pakistan is lived by Indian Muslim and India is mainly stayed by Hindu. so, there are always so conflict between india and Pakistan. and, the Indian here are that emotional when they are showing their patriotic to their country. there are as if a competition held here to compete their patriotic. a lot of funny view can be seen here.

from amritsar, we hired an expensive van to dharamsala. here, we stay in mcleod ganj, a place where dalai lama stay now. dharamsala is the land where all the tibetian refugee stayed after they have been chased out from tibet by the chinese government.

i can tell that dharamsala is the best place i went in the trip. the peaceful environment and the friendly people here made me feel quiet and relax in my heart, a feeling which suit me after my second year university exam. i trek around in mcleod ganj, to nearby village, like dharamcott and bangsu waterfall. mcleod ganj also a place for the monks from all over the world to do their meditation for the Buddhism teaching.

manali, the only purpose to come here is skiing. although i dun have sufficient finance to travel all the way to Switzerland, at least i have chance to ski and play with the snow.skiing in solang valley, manali

too bad, when i reach manali, my wallet start becoming dry. have to safe money. so, i decide to reduce all my expanses for the next few stations onwards. in manali, i went to old manali where i can find the Nepali. at here, i am exposed to their different type of houses. i did not stay long in old manali, what i know is they look like Mongolian, their look, their house, and their handicraft.

together with the memory of skiing, i leave manali to shimla. shimla, previously is the temporary capital for the British government in India during the summer. so there are few British buildings left here. in shimla, we went to kurfi, a place which is 16 km away from shimla, where we did our horse riding.

Agra.... the most important station of this trip. we took a van from dehli at 2 o'clock in the morning to Agra. Agra, where the taj mahal allocated, 5 hours journey from dehli, was a city with cheating and is dirty. i don't really want to tell this, but this is the impression that the place gave me. because of taj mahal, the local people are trying to cheat as much as possible from the foreigner. even the kids can communicate well in english, to sell the things to the foreigner with unexpected high price. we bought foreigner ticket with Rs750 to enter taj. for me, even though it is quite expensive, i have a satisfied moment inside there, enjoying photography, and also appreciate the architecture. i keep on comforting myself by telling myself that i have collect one seven wonders, to cover my pain of spending so much for this building. actually the ticket include a small part of money for the tickets of other monument. but, we could only make ourself to taj and Agra fort. because of the tiredness, we decide to leave Agra earlier than planned.

with our tired body, we leave Delhi to Varanasi. Varanasi, a very important place for Hindus, where their holy river is situated. what i know from senior is Varanasi is a dirty city. so, we decide to stay only one morning here, to drop by Ghanga river, before we leave to Darjeeling. we get a boat ride in Varanasi in the early morning, appreciating the different ghat along the river band, the unique culture of Hindus religion, and all the activities i never seen before. (sorry, i forgot the word i should use to describe these activities, will find it and re edit this part.) the moment of Ghanges river in the morning is so beautiful which make me almost forget how dirty the city is. our last station, Darjeeling, a place in west Bengal, where it is famous with it tea plantation, and also its wonderful point to appreciate those famous tallest mountain on Himalaya. unfortunately, before we reached Darjeeling, there are few days of heavy rain. therefore, on Tiger Hill, we could only blurry appreciate the world tallest mountain, Kanchenjunga. i also went to their tea garden - Happy Valley tea garden.

before heading back to Bangalore in Indigo flight, we have a four hours stay in Calcutta. we went to Victoria Memorial and Mother Teresa's home.Victoria memorial

actually there are a lot more to write about this block, what i give here is a short summary of my journey. maybe sometimes in the future, i will write my feeling of each places. really a good experience and i will be always recall every moment i spent with the other 10 people throughout the trip, the happiness, the emo moment and every L joke.hahaha... thanks to all my "teammates" for making the trip success.

wow! finally, my second year university is over. luckily i din get any borderline viva, thank god! really have to thank god, i pray every night, just hoping that i won't get any borderline viva. now, i hope that i will get into third year by passing all my second year subject! again i lift everything to god!
starting from tomorrow, i will be traveling around the north part of india! i wish and i pray so that i can have a happy trip. (i am one of the leader of the gp). will come back with more information and hope i can take lots of nice picture in this trip! see you!! pray for my safety.

exam will be on the third day of chienese new year! one week of my study break has passed, but my revision go on very slow! my internal also won't help much. means i really have to work very very hard to pass my uni exam!

after being controlling myself for five years, again i have involved myself in alcoholic drinks! i remember the first time i drank, is when i was in form three after i started doing holiday work! level of drinking increase with years, and i got my first drunk during the year 2002 after i have completed my form five!
see what is the symptoms of getting drunk:

euphoria (sense of well-being)
talkative
muscle in-coordination
drunken gait
uncontrolled behavior
palpitation
vasodilatation

there are many more others sign and symptoms which i couldn't remember right now! from above symptoms, i found that it was the most terrible experience that i ever had in a party. i remember, i try to vomit, but i couldn't, i try to sleep, but suffering from severe headache, i try to "pea", but end up sleeping in toilet! i sang throughout the night, taking off all my clothes. do u think this behaviors are normal? furthermore, my body start flushing, feeling warm, and all the allergy symptoms set in after that. seriously, i consider it a hard life. my allergy last for 1 week! (for your information, Chinese are easy to get drunk and flushing compare to other continent, because we are lack of alcohol dehydorgenase, an enzyme in our body which degrade alcohol)
after that experience (which i won't say is bad), i told myself, never drank again, never involve myself in alcohol.
so, i have kept myself "clean" from alcohol for five years!
but this forbid stop last night. i drank a bit. although the amount is less, i'm now having flushing on my body, itching all over my back and limbs.not as terrible as my first drunk experience! and i didn't drink much last night. it tells me that vincent is not a good drinker.
with all of these symptoms, i asked myself, why alcoholic drinks still consider one of the world most welcomed drinks? why people still want to drink so much and get themselves drunk. a temporary comes together with very suffering experience. a short temporary lost of memory without problems being solved. is it worth to spend and drink so much?
i think i really shouldn't drink alcoholic drinks, shouldn't and never! hahaha.....
alcoholic drinks is not good at all for our health, never listen to people who are telling that alcoholic drinks are good in blood circulation!
so, think properly next time before i drink. so as you! haha...

hard time coming

my forth block will be in next week! then three weeks of study week, then i will be putting on the judgment table!------ my university exam! hope everything will go fine and steady!

hope i won't be like the fish putting on the plate to wait for being eaten!

second year is a bit too fast for me! i remember when i was in form six, my MUET teacher told us," time really runs fast, just in a glimpse of eye, we are again in the weekend!"
then, a friend in my class answer her,"madam, there must be something wrong with your eye!"
it sounds very lame! but this is my feeling now! time really runs fast. too fast till i can't recall what have i done in this year! or, what are those important things that i have learned this year!

by the way, i have formed one team to travel to the north India! a team of seven people, are planning to go to the north India after the university exam! so, i have to score well this time, so that i can travel with a relaxing and happy feeling!
note: recently there are some cases happen in Pakistan which might involve the India border where we are going to travel to! hopefully everything with be fine and safe during the travel time!

the devotion today, is mainly about faith!

Faith!

Throughout this year, I have been keeping on telling myself that I must have faith for myself to complete second year! But, always when reach the time of exam, I used only my limited power to face all the challenge! I can say, without practicing for so long, I have forgotten how am I supposed to use my hidden power-- the faith to god! Today's devotion, there is a sentence," it is taking a pencil and underlining every 'me',' mine', 'my' in the bible."

I think over and over, it is very true. I'm going to complete my second round of life next year, but how many promises in bible I completed for god? Sorry lord……

Some story of my life for the pass few days,

25th December 2007, we are celebrating Christmas. I can say, the Christmas celebration this year is very much better than last year, because I am happy that I have done something, at least a thing for god for the Christmas this year!

My roommates and i held a meaningful Christmas for some of our friends from my batch! I pray so that they will also understand the main purpose of having Christmas celebration! Is the celebration of the birth of our beloved Jesus Christ

then on the 25th December, some of my friends from grace church were gathering in valley hotel for christmas lunch! nice experience, and when i stepped in to the lunch hall, i feel like i am somewhere in four star hotel in Malaysia.

holiness!

My devotion today is about the holiness. So, there is one sentence, "holiness appear to me to have a sweet, calm, pleasant, charming and serene nature, all of which brings an inexperiencible purity, radiance, peacefulness and overwhelming joy to the soul."

So, I'm thinking over by myself. With the experience which I have gained till now, I agree with above statement, and, for me, holiness also give me freedom, and a trust! I feel I am more free when I keep myself holy with god! And, when I am close to god, I feel the trust, then the peace! I love this feeling. Unfortunately, I never keep myself holy continuously. That's why people say, u must pay to what u have done! I once a guy who go to church but does not follow the rules completely, now, the sin still stain on my heart! I have tried to clean all of it, but some still remain there. And, sometimes I might repeat the sin which keep me away from god!

Second week of block four, times really running fast. Second year almost end already! And, I don think I have learned a lot in this year, still very blur with the subject! Maybe it is because I have played too much in this year! Sorry mum! By the way, I start to feel that it is better to stay in hostel, even though the life inside there gets limited, I feel I will be discipline to live inside there! Haihz… should I shift out?

I think my family should be in shang hai now. Too bad I can't follow them!

finally back to my hometown! initially, it is a very happy moment for me! but sad news come together with me! my wife was suffering impairment in organ's function! my laptop was sent to factory and was diagnosed that her motherboard which is attached together with sound card together with graphic card was not in good condition! damn it! i just bought the laptop for two years and it is broke down now! luckily my hard drive was not affected! still my laptop was not with now, is in the factory.
so, i can't share any picture inside here at the moment!
maybe i could looking forward for a new laptop? haha....

ha ha.. this afternoon during lunch time, i was suddenly so desperate to take some picture! i can say I'm hunger of professional picture. by the way, i dun have photo on raining in my collection, so, I'm trying to find some angle on my balcony. unfortunately , Lilian's room became the background, i accidentally took a picture which the rain drops look like crystal falling in manipal! (hah! i think Lilian will be the one who shout out loud!!)
is like snowing as well.
for your information, it's the raining season here now. such a good weather to hibernate.
by the way, u can see my photo is not that clear anymore, i think something wrong with my beloved camera.. so sad!

my confesed sunday

is such a good weather this morning, a rainy morning with cool weather.
because of staying till too late in the previous night, so, i was very tired and enjoying hiding myself in my smelly blanket. unfortunately, this "enjoyable" moment could not last long with the disturbed by my housemates who knocked on my purposely locked door! (actually, i have decided to purposely oversleep and skip the church Sunday service!! hope my housemate won't angry and fainted because of stroke when he read this.)
ya, nickson, my housemates had tried to wake me up to attend the Sunday church service. after that, i continue to sleep back, so that i could really oversleep and let everything go "smooth"!
but, after ten minutes, my heart suddenly feel discomfort! something or some sound from my heart kept on telling me that, Satan the evil going to be successfully conquering your heart! the sound kept on repeating attack me! my heart became very miserable, and peace less.

only then, i start remember that this might be the work of holy spirit. i told myself, i should be happy that god still be with me and does not throw me a part when i try to stay away from him. and, guiltiness start to appear in my mind! i felt so guilty that i have chosen to do the wrong thing that is against my beloved heaven father. without thinking twice, i quickly have myself clean and attended a very useful Sunday service.i really have to thank lord for his forgiveness and his care for me! at least now, i heart feel like being comforted and peace.
by the way, today's sermon by pastor is about faith. ya, i have almost lost myself after i lost my faith on my father in heaven! life goes so disarranged and full of sins.the song sang this morning," i lost without you, I'm desperate for you!" everything seems to have been arranged to teach me to come back to Him. o lord, thank you for your wonderful grace and care.

now, i fell as if somebody is holding my hand and walk along with me! we must have faith on our lord, and He will not let us down. have faith on him , cast our burden to him, because whatever which is impossible for us is possible for Him to solve it for us!

time wasted!!

it's saturday evening! since starting of second year, time has ran faster compare to first year! my second block exam is coming in another two weeks time, but i still have thousand tones of knowledge remain in the book, which i should install into my personal hard-drive (my brain which i think has limited processor speed and also going to run out of space!).
ya, every day start thinking of exam is coming near, and i should spend more of time on books! but things went in the opposite will! i found out that i have spent much of my time in front of my laptop, searching for nth! just click and time is wasted! i try to keep my laptop in my friend's room, but my maniac behaviour keep asking me to take it back and search in the net! this make feel like i am addicted! (start feeling scared of this behaviour! haha....) so, wut should i do?

now, suddenly feel very depressed. huh! wut to do? life still have to go on!

but i believe in god that he will guide me out from my problem! since i re-accepted god, HE never let me down when i have problem! so, trust in HIM is the best way for me to solve my problem!
